The Volusia Manufacturers Association (VMA) and Volusia County Economic Development Department are accepting applications for the 2011 Exporter of the Year Award. This award will be presented to a Volusia County firm that has demonstrated outstanding export performance. The winner will be honored at the 31st Anniversary Awards Banquet on December 8, 2011 at the Sunset Harbor Yacht Club.

Deadline for application: September 15, 2011

Eligibility:  Any Volusia County company successfully engaged in exporting may be nominated or may apply.

Award Criteria:
Percent of revenue derived from export of goods and services
Export growth over the last 3-5 years including countries in which products/services are sold
Innovative approach for identifying potential international markets or sales

Process:
Complete the application below and submit to Jayne Fifer
Selection Committee will review application and visit nominees

General Information:
Anyone may nominate a business for the Exporter of the Year Award.
The nomination may be made by the company itself. Call VMA with nomination and form will be sent to nominated company.
