The Volusia Manufacturers Association (VMA) is accepting applications for the 2011 Lou Fifer Manufacturer of the Year Award and Best Practices Awards. These awards will be presented to the Volusia and Flagler counties companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance. The winners will be honored at the 31st Anniversary Awards Banquet on December 8, 2011 at the Sunset Harbor Yacht Club in Daytona Beach.

Deadline for application: September 15, 2011

Eligibility:  Any Volusia or Flagler County company successfully engaged in manufacturing may be nominated or may apply.

Award Criteria: Companies will be evaluated on Leadership, Quality and Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Customer and Market Focus, Process Management, Business Results
