Go ahead. Admit it. You’ve got Excel and Access and you’re not using them anywhere near their potential.
How can you increase sales? What’s wrong with the production today, yesterday, and for this week? Which customers use what services? What’s the gross profit/net profit today, yesterday, or even 2 weeks ago? Who purchased these items? What must be shipped today? What are the suggestions/complaints of our customers today, yesterday, a month ago?
The answers to these questions is found in good data. Let us help you get started with convenient and inexpensive ‘hands-on’ training.
If you store your data by using Access and analyze it by using Excel, you can gain the benefits of both programs.
In many cases, you can use both programs, employing each for the purpose to which it is best suited. In general, Access is better for managing data: helping you keep it organized, easy to search, and available to multiple simultaneous users. Excel is generally better for analyzing data: performing complex calculations, exploring possible outcomes, and producing high quality charts.
